Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actor. She has starred in numerous TV shows, such as "Christy", the drama about a young woman known as Christy Huddleston. Martin's acting journey began when she was just seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care on the kids of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' Martin began her professional acting career after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing substantial roles both in the television and film industry. Martin, who is an actor and a skilled photographer and dancer, has been working in the field for over twenty years. Her sister, who died of Lupus at age 19, inspired her to become the Lupus National spokesperson.
